My advice for family session styling is to aim for a refined version of yourselves. Clothing that makes you feel amazing is always best-- you want to feel confident and comfortable and to be able to move freely without having to adjust things often. While we are lucky to have beautiful weather year-round in California, the "Golden Hour"—the hour just before sunset—is always the most sought-after for that warm, editorial glow. Fall is popular for holiday cards, but Spring & Summer offer lush greenery and longer days that are perfect for beach sessions or garden portraits. You don't have to wait for fall for a family session!
